Em Hogan is a writer and editor.

Since late 2012 they have worked at The Economist. Em has also written for other publications including the London Review of Books and the Financial Times.

Em graduated from Cambridge University in 2010 with a double first in English Literature and completed an MPhil the following year. They turned their undergraduate dissertation into a piece for the Times Literary Supplement about discovering an early draft of a poem by Frank O’Hara.
